The Great Pyramid of Khufu

The highlight of the site is the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC), once the tallest man-made structure in the world for nearly 3,800 years. Standing approximately 138.5 meters high, it is precisely aligned with the four cardinal directions and remains the only surviving wonder of the ancient world, admired for its remarkable architectural precision and the mysterious King’s Chamber within.

The Great Sphinx

Nearby stands the colossal Great Sphinx, a massive limestone statue with a lion’s body and a human head, believed to represent Pharaoh Chephren (2558–2532 BC). This timeless monument symbolizes strength and wisdom and continues to intrigue historians and visitors alike.

The Valley Temple

Just beside the Sphinx, visit the Valley Temple of Chephren, built in the mid-26th century BC. The temple played a key role in royal mummification rituals and preparations for the afterlife.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

Continue to the world-class Grand Egyptian Museum, a monumental cultural complex spanning nearly 490,000 square meters. Visit the historic Citadel of Salah El-Din, a massive limestone fortress built between 1176 and 1183 AD to defend Cairo against Crusader attacks. For over 600 years, it served as the seat of Egyptian rulers and features impressive mosques, palaces, and panoramic terraces.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

Inside the Citadel, explore the elegant Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque. Built between 1830 and 1848, its grand dome rises 52 meters high, and its walls are beautifully clad in alabaster.

National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC)

Al-Muizz Street

Finally, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable two-day Cairo journey.

Items that may incur extra costs during the trek include:

• Any additional transportation you may require.

• Tipping for your guide and driver at the end of the trip.

• Costs resulting from unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather or flight cancellations, including extra hotel nights and meals.

We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

• All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
• If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
