2 Days of Fayoum Oasis Tour All Inclusive

Early in the morning, your professional tour guide will meet you at Cairo International Airport. After a short rest at your hotel, begin a scenic drive of approximately 95 km toward the charming Fayoum Oasis, one of Egypt’s most historically rich regions.

Fayoum Oasis is known for its deep historical and religious importance, once serving as a major center for the worship of the crocodile god Sobek. Your exploration continues with a visit to Lake Qarun, Egypt’s largest saltwater lake and one of the oldest natural lakes in the world. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and observe various bird species, especially during the winter migration season.

After a day of discovery, relax with a delicious picnic lunch set against Fayoum’s beautiful natural scenery, offering a taste of local flavors in a tranquil setting.

Next, head to Wadi El Rayan, a protected natural reserve since 1989. This area is famous for its scenic lakes, desert landscapes, and relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both adventure and leisure.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred to your Fayoum hotel for check-in and overnight stay, where you can unwind and enjoy the comfort of your accommodation.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, begin your second day with a visit to the remarkable Wadi El Hitan, also known as the Valley of the Whales. This extraordinary site contains rare fossil remains of Archeocetus, the ancient ancestor of modern whales.

Due to its outstanding scientific and historical value, Wadi El Hitan was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2005. The open desert landscape and preserved fossils offer a unique glimpse into millions of years of natural history.

Following your visit, continue a short distance south of Wadi El Rayan Road to Mudawara Mountain, a striking geological formation that provides panoramic views and a memorable desert experience.

After completing your Fayoum exploration, begin the return journey to Cairo, bringing your two-day adventure to a close with lasting memories of Egypt’s natural and cultural treasures.

Additional personal expenses during your trip may include food tours, alcoholic beverages, tipping, visa fees, recreational activities, and any services not mentioned in the package.

Items that may incur extra costs during the trek include:

• Visa fees – Please refer to the Visa and Passport Information section for details.

• Any additional transportation you may require.

• Tipping for your guide and driver at the end of the trip.

• Costs resulting from unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather or flight cancellations, including extra hotel nights and meals.

We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

• All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
